Design review feedback

Hi Warsono,

Great work on the component library updates! I've gone through the latest iteration of the design system components and wanted to share my feedback. Overall, the consistency has improved significantly since the last review, and the token usage is much cleaner.

The button hierarchy feels intuitive now, and the form inputs have a polished, professional quality. I especially appreciate the attention to focus states and accessibility patterns across all interactive elements. The spacing system is being applied consistently, which gives everything a cohesive rhythm.

Here are a few specific items I'd like to address before we finalize:

  • The card component's hover shadow transition feels slightly too slow at 200ms. Consider reducing it to 150ms to match the base duration token for a snappier feel.
  • Badge text colors on the warning variant could use a darker shade for better contrast. The current yellow-on-amber combination barely passes 4.5:1 on smaller text sizes.
  • Modal backdrop opacity at 0.6 works well, but the close button positioning should be inset by 16px from the top-right corner instead of the current 12px to align with the card padding.
  • The navigation sidebar active state is great, but consider adding a left border accent (2px solid primary) in addition to the background highlight for stronger visual affordance.

Let me know if you have any questions about these items. I'm available for a quick sync call tomorrow afternoon if you'd like to walk through them together.

Best regards,

Sarah Chen
